Jones played in 10 games for the Rangers last year, in which he garnered four assists, 12 shots and eight hits, but has yet to break into New York's lineup this season. In the minors, the 21-year-old blueliner's offensive game has been on full display with 17 points in 21 contests. WIth Ryan Lingren and Jarred Tinordi both in the league's COVID-129 protocols, Jones could be in contention to make his season debut versus the Panthers on Wednesday.
