Tanev (undisclosed) didn't travel with the rest of the team to New York for the beginning of the Canucks' five-game road trip, Brad Ziemer of the Vancouver Sun reports.While it's still plausible Tanev could join the team at some point in the trip, it's more likely that's he's not viewed as especially close to a return.
