There's been no clear timeline established for the blueliner's return, but it won't come in Sunday's matchup with the Blackhawks. Expect another update when Tanev is considered fit to return, but his absence shouldn't be felt by many considering the blueliner owns just 17 points through 63 contests this season. Tanev's saving grace is that he still collects 21:53 of ice time on average, he remains on the man advantage and he's tallied 160 blocked shots thus far. While those stats don't necessarily translate to much season-long fantasy utility, they do keep him an option in daily formats.
