EDGE Analysis
After falling behind 3-0 in the first period, the Avalanche's offensive stars took over and fired 49 shots on Jack Campbell. Makar, one of those stars, was first involved in the comeback when he wristed a shot top shelf to close the gap to 4-2, his sixth marker over the last 10 games. He later won a puck battle behind the Toronto goal that led to J.T. Compher's game-tying goal. The defenseman maintained his point-per-game output, which is now up to 30 points in 27 contests.
