Sutter has assumed the Pens' No. 2 center role with Evgeni Malkin missing the last four games with a lower-body injury, but it had yet to result in a jolt in production until Saturday. Sutter had been held without a point in his previous three contests while putting up only four shots on goal, and considering the fluky nature of his tally against the Coyotes, there shouldn't be much optimism regarding his future production.
