Sundqvist is sidelined with an undisclosed injury and will miss a couple of weeks according to GM Jim Rutherford, Seth Rorabaugh of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Sundqvist was reassigned to the AHL and will likely remain there for the at least the duration of his injury, although given his lack of production compared to the other former Baby Pens in the lineup, it is unlikely the 21-year-old will see any more NHL action this season. During his brief stint in the majors, the center played in just 10 contests and snagged a lone helper.
