Stuart (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday. Stuart's placement on IR cleared a roster spot for Patrice Cormier, as the Jets were in need of an extra forward with Evander Kane (lower body) uncertain to play Monday. The blueliner isn't expected to return to action until February.
