Stone was left unprotected by the Flames ahead of Wednesday's expansion draft, TSN reports.

Stone appeared in 64 games over the course of an injury-plagued season for both Arizona and Calgary. He was much more impressive in his 19 games with the Flames to end the season, as he posted six points in those contests compared to the nine points he recorded in 45 games to start the season with the Coyotes. Coming off an inconsistent season that came with injury, however, may lead to Vegas staying away from the 27-year-old.
