Stone (knee) is out of the lineup once again Thursday against the Canadiens, Sara McLellan of AZCentral reports.

Stone rejoined the Coyotes for the start of their six-game road trip but was held out Tuesday and will remain sidelined for the second contest as well. The 26-year-old defenseman underwent surgery in April to repair his ACL/MCL and Arizona is likely just being cautious to not rush him back too quick. The team should update his status again before he's ready to return to the lineup.
