Palmieri (lower body) missed his seventh straight game Tuesday versus the Flyers, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

What has been odd is that Palmieri has been practicing with the Islanders since Jan. 3 but has been deemed not quite ready to play by coach Barry Trotz. Whether that is true or if he's out of the lineup because of poor performance is anyone's guess, but Trotz did state Monday that Palmieri is getting closer to being ready to play and is currently at about 80-85% of the way there. Trotz may also not want to break up a winning lineup. Palmieri will next get a chance to play Friday versus the Coyotes.
