Steve Stamkos doesn't have plans to head to Europe right now, but he considers it to be a probable option if the NHL season is in danger of being lost. He told ESPN's Pierre LeBrun that he would like to get "at least one to two months' worth of competitive games in just so [he has] something to gauge heading into the summer." However, he is still hopeful that a new deal can be reached between the the two sides so that part of the 2012-13 campaign can be salvaged.
