Steve Ott provided Buffalo with the game-winning goal Tuesday night in a 4-2 victory against Pittsburgh. He scored at the 17:26 mark of the third period to break a 2-2 tie. Ott also added a 10-minute misconduct penalty in the contest to bring his season total to 93 minutes in the sin bin. Ott has picked up nine goals and 24 points in 47 games during his first year with the Sabres.
