Steve Ott (hip pointer) will not play Sunday against Carolina. In fact, it is looking unlikely that he will be healthy enough to play Tuesday against the Capitals. The Stars are hoping that he will be good to go Friday in Pittsburgh but there are no guarantees. "These last two days have been real good. He's made some improvements and he is not in as much discomfort," Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said of Ott after Saturday's practice. "I think Tuesday is a stretch because we need him to practice a couple days. I think we are going to move that to Friday. He's going to stay back for the first bit of the trip so he can rehab and possibly get on the ice here by himself." Keep Ott on reserve for now.
