Steve Mason will start for the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday. Mason has started in six straight games, which isn't surprising despite the fact that he has allowed four goals in each of his last three games. His backup, Ray Emery, is dealing with a groin problem and Emery's temporary replacement, Cal Heeter, doesn't have any NHL experience.
