Steve Mason turned aside 35 of the 38 shots he faced in a 7-3 victory over the New York Islanders on Saturday night. Steve Mason is not making life easy for the Columbus Blue Jackets' front office. At times it seems as though Mason is not fully prepared for the NHL, however at times like tonight, he can shine. If Mason is looking to return to Columbus as a starting goalie, his is definitely going to have to earn it.
