Steve Mason, starting in goal for Philadelphia for the first time since suffering an upper-body injury April 12, "won the game for us," Flyers forward Matt Read said after Philly's 2-1 playoff win over the Rangers Friday night. The series is now tied 2-2, and the Flyers are confident they can come back to win the series with Mason back. He stopped 37 shots Friday. ""He stood on his head all night and made some big saves for us. He put the team on his shoulders.'' Mason said: "It was a lot of fun to get back out there in this kind of atmosphere. . .I've waited a long time for this. But one win doesn't do very much in the long run.'' Mason's playoff record was 0-4 before Friday night.
