Steve Mason allowed three goals on 35 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Rangers Sunday. Mason has had an extremely difficult season and it was only made worse when he took a Ryan Callahan shot off his mask during this game. He managed to stay in the game, but the incident was a fitting metaphor for his season.
