Steve Bernier scored two goals as the New Jersey Devils took advantage of a late surge to beat the New York Islanders 3-0 on Sunday. Bernier had the game-winner and an insurance tally in the third period. Those represent his second and third of the season, with goals representing all of his offense so far in 2013. He's a marginal consideration at this point, but his first-round talent indicates it might not be too late for him to develop into a regular contributor some day.
