Stephen Weiss recorded his first goal since Dec. 5 during Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to Colorado. He had been goalless in 15 straight games before scoring off his hand against the Avalanche. Weiss was in need of a break and he got one, but now it will be up to him to carry on a more positive trend moving forward.
