Stephen Weiss (groin) was back skating on Friday. He skated with his teammates Friday for the first time since he injured his groin muscle on November 7th. Weiss hopes to return to action next week after he gets a few more practices in. "I'll just try to continue to do more every day,'" Weiss said. "Once that's not a problem, get some practices in and hopefully play. It feels real good today, felt good yesterday and I know it's just a matter of ramping it up and making sure (the issue) is all gone and go forward.'' Weiss was off to a terrible start with only three points in 17 games. With any luck, the time off could serve as a reboot to his season.
