Stephen Weiss (groin) expects to be fine to play next Wednesday against Montreal. He doesn't know if he'll head to the AHL this weekend to play a little for the Grand Rapids Griffins on a conditioning stint. Weiss has played in just 26 games this season and he hasn't dressed since Dec. 10. He had sports hernia surgery on Dec. 23.
