Stephen Weiss centered Detroit's top line Wednesday night. Due to injuries to Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg, he played between Johan Franzen and Gustav Nyquist. Weiss picked up an assist on Franzen's eighth goal of the year in the Wings' 6-3 loss to Philadelphia. He has just four points in 23 games this season.
