Stepan (upper body) will travel with the Rangers to Boston, but won't play in Thursday's game against the Bruins, Steve Zipay of Newsday reports. After leaving Tuesday night's game in the second period with the injury, Stepan remained off the ice for Wednesday's practice. It's a good sign that he's being allowed to travel with the Rangers, so it would seem he's still being viewed as day-to-day at this time. If he's able to get in an optional skate Thursday, he could be cleared to return to the lineup Friday in Columbus.
