Stepan scored the game-winning goal for the second time in the Rangers' last three contests Thursday, striking with 1:31 remaining in the third period of a 4-2 victory over the Leafs.
EDGE Analysis
It's also his third two-point game in the last four, a stretch in which Stepan's ripped off four goals (on an uncharacteristically high 21 shots) and two assists. He struggled for a while there after returning from an IR stint that cost him 10 games, but Step looks like he's hitting his stride again in a big way. Expect to see productivity closer to his career norms down the stretch.
