Stepan (foot) is not expected to play in Monday's pre-season game against the Devils, Steve Zipay of Newsday reports. Stepan bruised his foot blocking a shot during practice Sunday. He'll probably miss Monday's pre-season game, but the injury shouldn't affect his status for the regular season.
