Oettinger allowed two goals on 22 shots in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
EDGE Analysis
Oettinger wasn't at his best Thursday, but the Stars were able to protect a lead throughout the third period. The 22-year-old improved to 5-0-0 with a 1.41 GAA and a .951 save percentage in six games overall. No goalie is as good as those numbers suggest, but the Stars are playing some sound hockey during a six-game winning streak. Per Saad Yousuf of The Athletic, head coach Rick Bowness intends to split the workload in goal between Oettinger and Braden Holtby going forward. Each goalie is expected to play twice next week, and both have been solid, so fantasy managers can't really go wrong with either one at this point.
