Coach Dave Tippett is hopefull Smith will be ready to return to practice sometime next week, so the veteran netminder will miss the Oilers' next few contests at a minimum. The 39-year-old vet has gone 2-2-1 while posting a 3.76 GAA and an .898 save percentage through six games this season.
