Stamkos played in a mere 17 contests this season after suffering a knee injury in mid-November. In his limited action, the 27-year-old tallied nine goals and 11 helpers, including seven points with the man advantage. The center, who was also sidelined for the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs, has been hard hit by injuries/illness and will look to get back to the player that logged three straight seasons of 82 games played.
