Staal (undisclosed) will be "good to go" for Game 1 of the Rangers' first-round playoff series Thursday against the Penguins, NHL.com's Dan Rosen reports. Staal returned to practice Tuesday and suggested he "felt really good," eliminating any concern about his availability for the playoffs. While his offensive numbers didn't jump off the page (five goals, 20 points in 80 games), Staal led all Rangers blueliners in PIM (42) and ranked second and third in hits (99) and blocks (123), respectively. He's a critical anchor on the team's back end.
