Spencer Machacek scored two goals in the St. John's IceCaps 8-7 win over Portland Tuesday night. Machacek recorded 50 points in 61 games with the IceCaps last season while also contributing nine points in 13 NHL contests with the Jets. Alexander Burmistrov also notched a goal and an assist in the victory.
