EDGE Analysis
Caufield pocketed goals eight seconds apart late in the second period to bring Montreal within striking distance at 5-3. While it was a disappointing home loss against one of the worst teams in the league, the Canadiens showed some fight in coming back, which included multiple scoring chances in the third period. Caufield's two tallies gives him 10 (two on the power play) in the 15 games since Martin St. Louis took over as interim head coach.
