DeBrusk scored the go-ahead goal and had two shots with two hits in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.
EDGE Analysis
DeBrusk found a loose puck on the doorstep and swatted it past Dallas netminder Braden Holtby to give the Bruins a 2-1 lead just under five minutes into the third period. It was the first goal of the year for the 24-year-old DeBrusk, who scored 19 times and added 16 helpers in 65 games last season. He lined up on the left side of Boston's third line with Erik Haula and Nick Foligno, a veteran trio to be sure, but one that could limit DeBrusk's offensive ceiling.
