The Devils are desperately trying to put an end to a nine-game losing skid for which they've totaled only 15 goals. Hockey life hasn't been much better for Smith, though, as he's dropped four consecutive decisions, including an overtime loss to the Senators on Thursday. Smith is 3-2-3 with a 2.70 GAA and .914 save percentage lifetime against the Devils -- to be fair, that's a small sample size given that he's been in the league for 10 years and counting.
