Smith will make ninth consecutive start having lost his previous two outings. The 34-year-old has been rather pedestrian this season with a 7-6-4 record and a .928 save percentage. While you can't lay all the blame at the feet of the Ontario native, if the Yotes are going to try to climb out of the bottom of the standings, they are going to need significantly better goaltending.
