Smith stopped 23 of 25 shots in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Red Wings. Though he might have taken a second straight loss, Smith's steady performances since the All-Star break at least make him a playable fantasy goalie. While there's not much upside in the wins category on a Coyotes roster lacking in high-end offensive talent, Smith can still offer some value if he can at least keep his ratios closer to his career norms the rest of the way. Even with some expected second-half improvement, Smith still has a long way to go in order to bring his season numbers (3.30 GAA, .894 save percentages) to even below-average territory.
