Smith snapped his three-game losing skid by saving 28 of 30 in Tuesday's 3-2 victory over the Leafs. To be fair, Smith hadn't played badly in two of the games of his losing streak, but his weak season numbers have been making every loss loom large. He'll likely be in goal again and trying to build some momentum Friday in a tough start against the first-place Ducks.
