Bailey, who cleared COVID-19 protocols Friday, skated with the rest of the Islanders on Saturday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bailey returned to the team Friday but didn't play as he has to work himself back into shape. There was some hope that he would be able to play Sunday, but that was before the NHL postponed at least the next two games for the Islanders due to the COVID-19 outbreak for the team. The practice facility for the Islanders is closed until at least Wednesday, so Bailey will have to work on his conditioning by himself. Still, with so many players for the Islanders not available to play, it would be an upset if he isn't ready to go Thursday versus the Sharks. That, of course, assumes the NHL gives the okay for the Islanders to resume play.
