Samberg (ankle) was on the ice Tuesday in a non-contact jersey, Jamie Thomas of Radio680 CJOB reports.

Samberg suffered his ankle injury back in late September and was finally able to get on the ice. Even once cleared to play, the 22-year-old defender will likely be shipped back to AHL Manitoba where he figures to spend the bulk of the season.
