The Blackhawks shut Dach down for the final four games of the 2020-21 season to allow his surgically-repaired wrist to fully heal when it became clear they weren't going to make the playoffs, but his presence on the ice Thursday suggests he should be ready to rock for Chicago's Opening Night matchup with the Avalanche on Oct. 13. The 20-year-old center picked up two goals and 10 points in just 18 games last campaign.
