Since he was first off the ice in practice Friday morning, Quick is likely to be the home starter in goal Saturday afternoon against the Stars, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Kings have carved out a spot in the postseason, so at this point, it's all about getting Quick and company ready for the intense playoff grind. The 30-year-old backstop had allowed eight goals between the Oilers and Sharks in late March, but he ended the month in strong fashion with a 21-save shutout of the Flames on home ice. He's faced the Stars one other time this season, pulling out a victory by means of a .931 save percentage in the contest played in mid-January.
