Stunningly, it'd been more than a month since Simmonds had picked up a multi-point game (Jan. 22 against the Islanders), but with 27 goals and 44 points on his season line, the veteran continues to be a valuable net-front presence and spectacular man-advantage producer for the Flyers. He's already cleared 20 power-play points for the fourth consecutive season.
