Simmonds missed the scoresheet for the third consecutive game Tuesday against Ottawa, and he has just two goals and three assists through 14 March games.

After posting 16 goals and 29 points through the first 32 games of the campaign, it looked like Simmonds was on his way to a career year. He hit an offensive wall in mid-December, though, and he has just 13 goals and seven helpers over his latest 44 games. His year-end numbers are going to be similar to what we've come to expect from the veteran, and Simmonds is still a rock-solid fantasy asset because of his ability to move the needle in plenty of categories. However, it's a shame the veteran couldn't capitalize on his impressive start to the season.
