Simmonds is on pace for his worst offensive season in three years, but is eyeing a career-high in PIM (186). With the holiday break behind him, Simmer will look to avoid another 16-game stretch in which he tallies a mere four points (he did that in an October/November drought). He's been more consistent of late, and there's no doubt he can turn things around in the second half of the season. But he'll need his team to continue showing signs of life. He faces the Kings on Saturday afternoon, a team which blanked him earlier in the season.
