Tatar (undisclosed) signed a two-year, $9 million contract with the Devils on Thursday, The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta reports.

Tatar was a solid contributor in a middle-six role for the Canadiens last season, racking up 10 goals, 30 points, 82 shots and 63 hits while averaging 14:59 of ice time through 50 contests. The 30-year-old winger will likely skate on New Jersey's first or second line and should produce similarly in 2021-22, making him a nice secondary fantasy option.
