Tierney played 36 games in the NHL last season, managing three goals and 10 points between the Panthers and the Canadiens. The veteran forward also spent 20 games with AHL Charlotte, scoring three times while adding 13 assists. It was his first minor-league action since 2015-16 when he was in the Sharks organization. Tierney will receive $775,000 at the NHL level and $400,000 when playing in the minors in 2023-24.
