Sheldon Souray will play against the Edmonton Oilers on Monday for the first time since his heated departure. Souray demanded a trade going into the 2010-11 season, a request that the Oilers could not fulfill despite putting him on both regular and re-entry waivers. Souray was willing to report to training camp and play with the team despite his early demands, but the Oilers instead decided to dump him in the minors for the season. Once the 2010-11 campaign was done, Edmonton bought out the remainder of the contract and Dallas signed him to a one-year/$1.65 million deal. Souray has excelled with the Stars, recording 13 points in 19 games. We'll see if he is able to get some measure of revenge against Edmonton on Monday.
