Sheldon Souray is happy that he will remain in Dallas the remainder of the season. Souray is eligible to become a UFA at the end of the season so there was always a chance that he would be dealt, but in the end GM Joe Nieuwendyk decided to keep the status quo. "Honestly, I was relieved when the trade deadline passed, really relieved," Souray said. "Y'know, you can say that it wouldn't have been a bad thing to move, but I just couldn't imagine anyplace else I would rather be right now."
