Shaw has compiled just one goal and two assists over his last 22 games. The center has gone minus-10 during that span and might have hit his breaking point in the team's last game Sunday against the Stars, when he saw just 9:24 of ice time. He's probably not in danger of losing a lineup spot just yet with the injured Kris Versteeg (hand) and suspended Daniel Carcillo eating up two of the team's three scratches every night, but Shaw has clearly been a disappointment in his follow up to last season's 39-point effort.
