Sharp netted a power-play goal in a 3-2 loss to the Capitals in Thursday's annual Winter Classic. Sharp used the outdoor environment of Nationals Park to his advantage, as Capitals goalie Braden Holtby never saw the puck leave the forward's stick while the sun beamed down on him. But he didn't solely rest on trickery to deliver a superb showing for the Blackhawks, as he finished with a game-high 10 shots, which also represented his best total for the season.
