Sharp (leg) will not return until next week at the earliest, ESPN Chicago reports. Though Sharp resumed practicing with the Blackhawks on Tuesday, coach Joel Quenneville expressed a desire to use the forward only if he was "more than ready" to play, stating that he wanted him to absorb more contact before returning. Sharp will be ruled out for both ends of the Blackhawks' back-to-back set, but should be a lineup option for the team as early as next Tuesday. That would put him total length of absence at five weeks -- about one-to-two longer than initially anticipated.
